“Our Richmond Hill home on the water is the last house we plan to build as we settle into retirement, so we wanted to make sure that we got it right. We spent 38 years in Charlotte but love Savannah and decided to make Coastal Georgia our home in 2014. We enjoy being outdoors and love watching the birds and dolphins so we wanted to be on the water and chose to buy our lot at Waterways and selected Ted Flake of Keller Enterprises as our builder.
When we met Ted, it was apparent that he and his team take pride in their work and want to build custom quality homes. We especially appreciated Ted’s flexibility and responsiveness. There were a few times when what was on the blueprint wasn’t optimal in reality. They always worked through it with us, coming up with solutions on the fly. Ted and his craftsmen made several suggestions to make our dream home even better.
It is important to us that our house fits into the environment here and that it will have an enduring appeal. Whenever we were out and about and I saw something we liked – from houses in South Carolina to the perfect stairway – we took a photo on our phones and showed it to the Keller Enterprise team to help them create the style we wanted. We enjoy having family and friends from Charlotte visiting us so comfortable guest accommodation is vital. We have three bedrooms and baths in an upstairs living space and we enjoy our privacy in the master suite downstairs which has amazing views – we always enjoy the sunsets here.
Now that we are in our new home, we are very satisfied with the quality of the construction and the craftsmanship is excellent. It is not a showcase but a comfortable home and everything we dreamed of! We are so happy that we listened to the people who referred us to Keller Enterprises”

“We moved from Missouri to Richmond Hill and initially were renting a house here. Our agent introduced us to the Plantation community and to Ted Flake – and we are so happy he did. From the beginning, it was clear that he was the custom builder we were looking for. From our first telephone conversation with Ted he was friendly, knowledgeable and understood what we needed. We wanted a house with a lot of downstairs bedrooms and we saw a floor plan online that we liked. He was always personally available to us and while respecting our opinions was happy to make suggestions about the design if we needed some guidance. “We had been renting in Richmond Hill and decided to buy some land and custom build our home in the Waterford Landing area, outside the city limits. We had heard good things about Ted Flake from homeowners who had worked with him but we interviewed three builders before committing to one company. We chose Keller Enterprises for lots of reasons:
- Firstly, they had a floor plan that was very close to our vision of the perfect home for our family which needed very few modifications. We have four children – three are at school so we had special requests including a vanity room for our 17 year old daughter

We wanted to invest in a high quality new kitchen and could not be more delighted. Our original kitchen was installed when our home on Buckland Hall Road was builtover 20 years ago and as we love to cook and entertain, it was showing serious signs of wear and tear. We wanted a warm wood look which fits into the open plan nature of our home living area. Nothing was too much trouble for the team at Keller Enterprises and the attention to detail and quality of work was stunning.
